A woman who had lived in Arizona was killed in a motorcycle accident in Camarillo, California. She was just 23 years old. She passed away at the scene of the wreck when the motorcycle slammed into a train. The woman was riding on the back of the bike, which was being driven by a 26-year-old man. They were driving down Las Posas Road, heading south, in the direction of Fifth Street. That road crossed over a set of railroad tracks.
However, the man did not stop when he got to the tracks, despite the fact that a train was coming through, and he apparently drove right into the side of it. Both people were thrown from the bike, and the man suffered serious injuries. He had to be taken to Ventura County Medical Center. Police who investigated are now saying that they think the man was on drugs at the time of the wreck. They are going to arrest him, though he has not yet been able to leave the hospital, as he's being treated. Unless something drastic changes, he'll be arrested when he's well enough to be released. The woman who passed away spent extensive time living in Arizona, with her father, while going to school to be a pet groomer. After finishing school, she opened a business that she called Bark, Bath & Beyond, which is where she met the man who was driving the motorcycle. Her family is originally from Austria. If you've lost a loved one in a motorcycle accident, you may be able to seek financial compensation.
